Fedor Choke Out Master

Fedor Emelianenko was recently described as possibly "the greatest choke out master of MMA. Viewers of a popular tv series Sports Science were treated to a showing of Fedor's

rear naked choke. He was compared to one of nature's deadly wonders, a nine ft. Albino Bermese Python. The bermese python exerts approximately 40 lbs. of pressure to its victim which it can maintain for a solid 3 hrs. Fedor with the use of a rigged up dummy measured at 500 lbs. of pressure. More than enough to render anyone unconscious. Fedor was much more gentle with his live victim, John Brenkus Sports Science host. There is reason to fear as too little oxygen can cause brain damage. The trachea (or wind pipe as it is known) can be damaged with such crushing force.
The rear naked choke hold actually cuts off the blood supply to the brain by stopping the flow of blood from the carotid artery. It is much more effective and faster than an air choke. It is quite possible to cause severe and extensive damage to the trachea. This is not something that should be tried at home folks. Intense training and monitoring is needed. It took 4 seconds to

render John Brenkus unconscious. Brain damage could occur in as little as 5 minutes.
